Let Go My EGGO!

I think my team did almost all the 5 steps of the planning process. We know very clearly what the objective was, which was to design some kind of contraption to hold an egg. We only have our limited resources of 8 straws and 2 feet of tape to build this model that have to show at least 50% of the the egg. My team came up with quite some models and discussed if it would work if it were built. At this point we started to argue with model to build and would actually work with our limited resources. We all have different opinions on with of the couple of models we came up with would work best. We just picked the last model we had.

I guess my team and I didn't really take step 3 into consideration, which is generating alternative scenarios. Because we have very limited time to develop and take of the plan, we had to rush. Due to the limited time and resources available, we were kind of rushing when it came to building our model. I think that we had a little more time and get a chance to play around with the limit resources we have, our model might be better. Overall, I think my team is pretty effective. To be more effective, I think we should assign a task for each person and start from there.

I agree. My group did rush through practically the whole thing. I knew I was freaking out because I wanted to make sure we had everything done by the time we had to present it. We didn't really go over step 3 either cuz, well, like you said there wasn't enough time. With more time I think we all would have had better contraptions and maybe with more resources we would have made some eggs survive the fall.

I believe most of the group was rushing the project, which made us nervous. we were spending so much time on find who's idea was the best, and everyone was trying prove their idea is the best.even that, our egg still couldnt survie at the end. but it was fun and excited

I strongly agree with your post. Nice job. Limited stuff really suck. limited resources and time. All those steps are very important, goal might fell if we did't do any of those steps. After this time, next time you guys will know what to do best as a team. Better luck next time.

I think that everyone was under a lot of pressure. The steps were hard to follow because everyone was so concerned about the time constraints. I think that with less pressure everyone would have been able to accomplish the goal, or taken their time. I think that everyone was just thinking fast and irrationally instead of slow and rationally. If we had an unlimited amount of time I think that a lightbulb would have popped into someones had about the loophole in the rules.
