I think the video that we saw in class about "Vision" and its concept was pretty interesting. We all think about what we want to accomplish something in a certain amount of time. This could be a short-term or long-term goal that we are setting ourselves that may or may not happen. The percentage of it happening or not depends on the amount of effort we put into it. I really like one the statements that got repeated throughout the video, which is "vision without action is just a dream/action without vision merely wastes time/vision with action can make things happen." I totally agree with it and think that it is a true factual concept.
I, like many others, have visions too. I look and think into the future of what I want myself to be doing. The first vision that I want to see myself accomplish is to graduate from college. In order to see this college degree, I would have to concentrate more on my studies. I have to take more time in school work, rather than working and doing other things. After that, I hope to get a decent good job that can pay my living expenses and also have some to be saved for future use. I hope that the job that I wish to work in show some "getting along with others around the area" kind of environment, which I know is hard to find. I am looking forward to see this come true. I will try my best to find it by concentrating on my studies and doing some research (which will involve peers). Within the next five years I would also like to spend some time going to other countries to relax, in another word, taking vacations. I have lots of places that I want to visit, so I hope to go at least one of them. I know that I will not have enough money to go on vacation every year, but one should be affordable. I will just have to work hard to enough money.
Each and every vision that we have in our mind may come true if we take action, but without action it will just be an dream in wonderland.

Get a decent job to live is important for everyone. In order to get, it is also important to take every step diligently. Seems like you are on a right track.
I have been travelling several other countries and realized that encountering with other culture gives you not only relaxation but challenge. It will help you to get another goal in the future.
I completely agree with you that a vision can only come true with action, a vision without action will only be a dream. It seems like you have set out some typical and realistic goal for yourself. You seem like you want to live a relatively simple life where you live comfortably with a decent job and travel during your leisure time. It seems like you will live a stress-free and drama-free life!!

I like your ideas, but I think that they should be a little more concrete. It is wonderful things that you are describing for the future, but you have to have a definite beginning to accomplish these goals.
Good job that can be based on what you like to do is very importnat. I also - like you - think that the good educational background is the most important. It can be a strong basis for your career. But it requires time. Time to go to school, and time to study to receive good grades, because GPA counts :( But the day of your graduation will be the most beautiful in your life. good luck!!
Thanks for the support Shuhuang. I appreciate it. I think graduating from Baruch is very important and without a doubt you will get there. You are definitely bound to get a good job with your degree so don't worry. And I love the vacation idea. That's awesome. Good Luck with the world traveling and everything else.
Plans can be destructive as you may not appreciate 'the now'. I got ill and have not managed to fulfill my plans but now I am on a totally different path which I hope to be much better for me! Take care, have fun plan with caution! xxxx
I think the video is very interesting too. Everyone has their own goal to accomplish in a limited amount of time. It won’t be easy for anyone of us. I hope everything will work out for you. The percentage of happening will be high, if we try harder. The more effort we put in, the higher chances it will happen. I agree that everything without action will only be a dream. yeah inorder to get a decent job , we need to graduate in college. then start saving money and takin vacation to visit other country. it would feel really relax and stress-free.
